Filming and Editing

As a Media and Marketing student, I have engulfed myself in a variety of work. At the beginning of 2025, I shifted my focus to video production and editing through courses such as Digital Storytelling, Social Media Marketing and my time with Lasell University admissions.

Storm
Short film post Winter storm. While editing, I decided to turn it more into an Indie film rather than a clean-cut video. Recorded on a Rebel Camera and edited on Premiere Pro

POV Exercise
For this exercise, I used different editing techniques to showcase what social media-specific content can look like. By using a popular audio and engaging short edits, this footage was edited on CapCut.

Shared experiences
For this project, I decided to interview a close friend of mine, Jaderson. He is one of the hardest working people I know & his dedication to his future is something I find inspiring. I chose to go forward with questions about his upbringing rather than life now because I thought it would be interesting for the audience to see how he got to where he is today. With questions about the school system from his childhood & growing up with a single mom, I used both interview clips and B-ROLL to capture this video. I used CapCut for both the editing and lighting effects.

Design To Its Core
A Lasell University student, Dillon Ramirez in his junior year studying Fashion Design and Production, with experience designing both in the US and abroad with Lasell’s study abroad program. Throughout it all, he explained that design takes a lot out of you. From all-nighters to some students turning to drugs to finish work, the design program is not for the weak. It takes real dedication to finish this program from start to finish. For the editing and lighting effects I used CapCut.
